Meet Kristen Rubin, Au.D.

Dr. Kristen Rubin, along with her husband Scott Rubin, is the owner of Keystone Audiology.  She was drawn to the field of Audiology because it gave her the ability to greatly improve a patient’s quality of life. She enjoys getting to know her patients and their families, and helping them to break down the communication barriers that hearing loss can cause.

She grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut. She received her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in Pennsylvania, where she lived and worked for several years in Philadelphia before returning to the Ocean State to continue her career in 2015.

Dr. Rubin has extensive clinical experience with the newest technology, and prides herself on continuing her education and attending several training classes throughout the year to keep up with industry updates. Dr. Rubin is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is licensed as an Audiologist by the Rhode Island Department of Health.

When outside of the office, Dr. Rubin enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cooking/learning new recipes.  She and her husband have three children, Henry, Charlie, and Madison, so a lot of their time is spent playing with blocks and magnatiles 🙂 As a family we love to spend time in New Hampshire – especially at Story Land and Santa’s Village.
